About our publication
The main purpose of the The Sidecar literary magazine will be to collect and publish essays by Bucknellians who have gone abroad, who have been granted transfer admission, who have been granted international admission, and who have participated in extra-curricular off-campus activities. Its goal will be to bring a contrasting or influencing perspective from one of these areas to life at Bucknell, thereby informing the campus community.

The publication will be printed once or twice annually, with matt cover and glossy interior. Copyediting, layout and design will be the responsibility of The Sidecar staff. As the publication's focus is the professional presentation of nonfiction and travel student essays, cover art or any other art or photography will be solicited from non-Bucknell artists or photographers. A printer will also be solicited externally.
