Over the years the MSA has worked closely with the administration and with the University Chaplain to provide Muslim Students on campus with a better environment to practice their faith.

The Prayer Room:

A prayer room has been assigned to the Muslim Students Association where congregational prayers can be offered and which can be used for recitation of the Holy Qur'an a quiet environment. Keys to the prayer room can be picked up from the University Chaplain's office in the Rooke Chapel. All keys must be returned to the Office at the end of the academic year.

Juma Prayers (Friday Congregational Prayers):

Friday prayers are now held in the prayer room. The prayer time is tentatively set at 2:00 pm, all members will be notified of any changes in this time via e-mail.

Ramadan Meal Arrangements:

The Dining Services at Bucknell have very spread out hours in different dining venues. The 7th Street Cafe is open 24/7 and other venues are open from early in the morning until late at night. Here are the hours for other venues:

Bison   Monday-Friday  7:00 am to 11:00 pm Saturday-Sunday  9:00 am to 11:00 pm   Bostwick Marketplace (Cafeteria in LC) 7 days a week  18 hours of continuous dining. 6:00 am to Midnight You may also find it useful to get a 'take-out' box from the Bison or from the Cafeteria for Seher since the 7th Street cafe has a rather limited menu.
