The Executive Committee
consists of all the officers and chairpersons of standing committees and will perform the following duties:
- Monitor the general membership: approve new members, and recommend that members not in good standing should be removed
from the group.
- Communicate with committee heads and chairpersons about their plans and programs. Approve committee plans / programs.
- Coordinate all budgeting (i.e. how much money goes to each committee); monitor funds and budget requests.
- Formulate and review the agenda for each general meeting.
- Monitor all amendments and changes to constitution and / or bylaws.
The Lending Committee
- Make and monitor loans
- Discuss and communicate with the rest of the group the parameters on each loan, why the decision is being made to give to
that person etc..
- Contact reports/ publicity committee when there is an update on a loan
- Work closely with the fundraising committee to keep a finance book of money raised that is available to loan; request that
the fundraising/ events committee work towards more / less events depending on need of money to loan
- Record all loans made and paid off in an excel file for long term access.

The Fundraising Committee
- Send out brochures to faculty, students, friends, and family requesting money
- Contact alumni who could be potential sources of money
- Update alumni on progress of the loan that they contributed to
- Communicate with the events committee when events committee is planning events that include fundraising.
The Events Committee
- Plan campus events for the joint purpose of spreading awareness of microfinance and fundraising for making loans
- Keep an organized file of how many donations are given, and from whom they are given.
- Organize agenda for events
- Secure speakers and / or other forms of educational media for the campus.

The Reports/Publicity Committee
- Write up parameters that the group decided upon before loaning (i.e. why a particular borrower was chosen)
- draft reports on the progress of the loan to be posted on the website and sent to donors in brochures
- create posters for the campus when campus events, speakers, or talks are scheduled
- send campus wide emails
The Website Committee
- Design website with RSS feed to update the campus on borrowers progress
- Monitor website functioning
- Post updates that reports/ publicity committee drafts
