What is the Initiative for Microfinance at Bucknell?

The initiative for Microfinance at Bucknell aims to establish a microfinance fund that loans to low income entrepreneurs all around the world to support the establishment of micro-enterprises. The fund is managed by a group of students on campus who use KIVA's platform for making microloans via the internet to Microfinance Institutions.

One of the most arduous tasks for Bucknell students is transporting their belongings to and from school. Some students have a lot of items and hire moving companies to personally deliver the items to their dorm rooms or apartments.
