February 14, 2006:
·
Nicholas
Hertz your new alumni rep. I have just
learned how to update the website and I will try to update it as frequently as I
can.
·
If
anyone has any old or new Lambda photos and would like me to post them, please
email them to me at nhertz@bucknell.edu
.
·
As
of yesterday Bucknell Basketball (20-3) is ranked 24th in the nation
following a comeback victory over Holy Cross.
·
Rich
Sherman bought a box for the final home game on February 25 against Army, it
should be a great time and hopefully we will see Bucknell go 14-0 in the
patriot league.
·
I
believe we are going to have a register either the 24th or 25th
of February so that is something to look forward to.
·
Otherwise,
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
December 4, 2005:
- So nothing too much new on the home front. Fat Joe is still
fat, Panda Boy still smells, Kiron still has tests, Hurter is still
blacked out, and Hertz is still really old.
- Thanks to Alumni Mr. Wolfe (Class of 78'?) to donating 100
dollars to the house. It was greatly appreciated when we got around to
fixing our couch.
- Our chef, Tony, won the Greek Iron Chef competition, so congrats.
October 3, 2005:
- A ton of alumni showed up, it was a great Homecoming
Weekend. A lot of the guys from last year showed up, they were:
Fledderjohn, Russell, Mantia, Harless?, Avioli, Joe Danville, Mike Mathes,
Foster, Stange, Jesse Lubin, Giordano, Luke Getto, MOY, Serg, and best of
all, Motley. I'm sure there are more I'm forgetting.
- Of course we also appreciate the other recent guys for
coming too, like Brof (the president from '00) or some kid named Maas that we "fumbled." If you don't know
what that is, just hope it doesn't happen to you.
- Also, it was great to see some older alums out too. A
couple of brothers from the 60's showed up and did an awesome song and
dance on stage.
- Farley and Kramer also showed up and drank for 56 hrs
straight. I decided they live off beer and fried food. Real healthy guys -
keep it up.
- Let's talk about donations for a minute: Lubin gave me 17
cents. Farley gave a receipt. Kramer gave me a beer. Foster gave me a
nickel and a credit card worth nothing. Sergio gave me a penny. Thanks for
all the support guys.
September 10, 2005:
- I think I should clarify the house situation. The school
put so much money into it over the summer. The house looks amazing. We
welcome everyone to come by and look at the house. It's a brand new house
(for the most part). Pictures coming soon under "History"
section.
- Also, HOMECOMING WEEKEND has been announced. It is the last
weekend of September, and it should be a great time. Our schedule is:
Registered Party on Friday Night with a DJ, followed by an all day BBQ at
the house featuring Bucknell's own Flowdown.
- Joe Spada, We miss you, please come visit.
September 4, 2005:
- Our second alumni donation came today. It was from alumni
David Avioli, who gave me 4 dollars. However, Avioli also stayed in our
house for 3 days, ate about 20 dollars worth of food, and drank about 20
dollars worth of beer. Thanks a lot ya jerk. YTD Donations : 8 Dollars.
August 24, 2005:
- The school took our house, and made it look legendary. They
put so much work into the house that it looks like a whole new house. Some
of the rooms were opened up, others weren't so lucky.
- We saved our furniture because we thought we were going to
be allowed to use strictly non-school-issued furniture. However at the
last minute, they decided we have to use their furniture, like it or not.
- Thanks to the people that helped unload the trailer.
- Shoutout to Rich "beartraps" Brodt.
April 3, 2005:
- House Party 2005 went great - Bucknell's own Flowdown
played on Friday, along with DJ James. On Saturday, Milf and Cookies took
the stage.
- Our first alumni donation (within at least the past decade
haha) came from Tim VanHouten; who generously donated 4 dollars. Pedro
vowed to buy cigarettes with that money.
- Our very own, Morgan aka Rainmaker is an incredibly
horrible dancer. If you feel like wasting 30 seconds of your life, you may
download the video by clicking here.
March 25, 2005:
- The school decided to take our dog, Motley, away from us.
Motley, you will be forever loved and missed. I salute you. As for
Bucknell, not so sweet. The era of 4 legged animals is over, except for
the ones that live under Baldwin's bed.
