Game Summary
BU vs. Mifflinburg
Bucknell University faced off against 4th place ranked Mifflinburg in a SVMHL instant classic. In their previous match up the Mifflinburg assailants attempted to slash their way to victory, and after several meetings before the most recent game the Bison decided vengeance was necessary. For the first several minutes the match up was heated. The Mifflinburg team was focused, attacking with a vicious forecheck and battling hard in defensive zone. That was… until the scoring began. Under the veteran leadership of Jake DuPont the Bison played a virtual full strength powerplay. Permitting the puck to do the majority of the work, the Mifflinburg team tired quickly as they chased the puck into the back of the net. With a minor goal tending breakdown at the hands of Jeff Greco the Bison held Mifflinburg to one score. Jeff claims that an unfamiliar glove is to blame, but we all know that he prevent the over the shoulder top shelf snipe when he drops into butterfly. Perhaps more embarrassing is the manner in which the puck rolled over his shoulder and dropped into the goal. With a final score of 22-1 and a debatable 3 goals that were not placed on the board the Bison stampeded Mifflinburg. Needless to say Micah Schuette inspired awe as he led the team in all branches of the stat sheet. Austin Carr-Jones was a close second with 9 goals and 13 assists. The first star however must go to the excellent defensive work of one Richard Thornburgh.
Game 2  Vs Millersville

The game began with a 3-2 Bucknell lead after the first period with goals coming from Alex Rascoe, Alex Pron, and Dan Shiwarski. The second period was cluttered with penalties leaving bucknell shorthanded for majority, allowing the Millersville offense to score 2 goals, but Chris Tompson answer the fourth goal with a shot from the point. Going into the third period the game was tied, but Bucknell pulled off the win with a game winning goal bye Huges. Goalie Rob Yauger preformed an excellent game in net leading to this victory.
BU vs. GC
In what will prove to be the most horrifying loss for the Bison this season, the men in orange lost to Gardner Construction in a 14-6 blow out. The Herd, which could only rally five skaters and a goalie for their game, put forth a valiant effort to stop the construction of their own altar. Even under the watchful eyes of the University President, the Bison could not stop the scoring onslaught of Gardner Construction's finest. Despite the traumatic nature of the event, there were a few highlights worth mentioning. Josh Steinburg, Bucknell's net-minder saw and stopped more shots in this game than he had probably seen the entire season. Keaton Wright skated his way onto the scoresheet with a beautiful shot from the slot. Chris DiMarco in his epic return to the ice also contributed to the Bison effort with a goal of his own. The first star of the game however must go to Gardner Construction's high school aged defensemen. Whom, when frightened by the freakishly ogre nature of Keaton Wright could not help but blurt, "I'm only in high school, don't hurt me Frankenstein," from the penalty box.
