IFC meeting called to order by David Quinn at 8pm. All chapters present except Fiji, Theta Chi. (Chi Phi) 1. Alumni Liaison - Bill Massaro: Collecting surveys for Alumni Luncheon in the Fall. 2. GAMMA - Adam Hinshaw: None 3. GAME - Arjun Raman: Needs to know by Thursday which fraternities will be participating in the Diversity Potluck Dinner on April 25. Also needs to know what dishes each fraternity will bring, and whether hot or cold meal. Chi Phi and Sig Ep have offered to host the event if we are unable to host it in the Smith Quad. 4. Community Service/Philanthropy - Chris Palmer: Sig Ep and Alpha Chi Omega will be hosting a Volleyball Tournament this Saturday on the McDonnell courts. Teams can register for $70 and fraternities will receive philanthropy credit. 5. Special Events - Jay Sliger: None 6. Secretary - Tommy Murray: Our Greek Life presentation during the Admission Office's Accepted Students Day went well. 7. Recruitment - Bill Groen: All recruitment information for next Fall must be handed in by Friday, April 21. In the process of setting a meeting with all Rush Chairs in the next two weeks. Fraternities are welcome to have freshmen friendly events throughout the Spring. 8. Treasurer - Mike Simione: Financial accounts have been updated. 9. VP-External - Steve Horsefield: Alpha-To-Omega articles are in the process of being printed. 10. VP-Internal - Nick Panaro: None
11. President - David Quinn: Thanks for the help with Accepted Student's Day this past Saturday. Members should document any complaints that members might have with the Lewisburg Police Department. Complaints should be filed with the Deans who can take proper action. 12. Greek Advisor - Dean Marrara: Reminder that there is a vigil tonight at 9:15PM for the losses of those at Virginia Tech University. A reminder that fraternity basements can be used for storage during the summer so long as permission is received. Stored items can not block doors or any necessary fire safety equipment. Chapters are encouraged to tape off appropriate areas where items may be properly stored. A reminder that 70% of chapter members must attend all P4P programs in order for the program to count. Students are encouraged to congratulate Mike Purcell, former Head of Residential Life, and his family who just recently purchased the Bull Run.
