IFC meeting called to order by Joe Valickus at 8pm. All Chapters are present except SAE and Kappa Alpha Psi representatives. Reports 1. Alumni Liaison - Greg Wagner: Faculty/Staff Reception- it is next Wednesday April 23 in Walls Lounge from 11-1. Send out four of the invitations to your favorite faculty or staff members. The whole point of this event is to talk up the Greek system and show the faculty what we are all about. Business Casual. Alumni Chair Meeting Minutes- as soon as he gets a copy of Panhel’s information he will forward it along. Also if you haven’t sent him your information, do so soon. 2. GAMMA - Penton Mott: Give in your alcohol surveys by the end of the week. Next semester’s speaker will count for hazing for PfP. 3. GAME - Chen Mao: Professor Peterson Lecture- Pi Phi is providing this speaker for tomorrow at 7. Fall Speaker- Chen is still working on a fall speaker next semester. 4. Community Service/Philanthropy - Scott Shapiro: MPP Clothing Drive and details- He is having a brief meeting at 6 in LC 302 with the service chairs tomorrow to give out the boxes to fill up. The Wednesday of finals week he will collect them. Upcoming events are Kappa Klassic, Relay for Life, and the Pi Phi Picnic. 5. Special Events - Jack Swain (absent) : All the individuals that helped out during House Party received written thank-you notes and gift certificates from Sheetz. 6. Secretary - Chris Petersen: Admitted Students Fair- Thanks to everyone who came out and helped with the fair. It seemed like it went well for all the tables and we got a lot of interest at the IFC/ Panhel table. 7. Recruitment- Karan Shah: Fraternity Recruitment Forum on April 24th at 6:30 pm in the LC Forum. Thank you to the 12 fraternities that showed up. There is also a Diversity Pre-Recruitment Event on April 23rd at 7 pm at the Vedder Cultural Center- 8. Treasurer - Jeff Pike (absent): No new report. 9. VP-External - Abe Brodach: No new report. 10. VP-Internal - Tom Leaman: House Party Monitor Compensation- they are all in envelopes and set to get picked up. They must present their BUID to claim the money. This is the last weekend of GMT since this is the last weekend of registered events. 11. President - Joe Valickus: There will be an IFC/Panhel/Presidents Dinner on April 27th at 5 pm. He will send out a reminder later this week. Event Evaluation Forms- make sure you hand them in as soon as you can. They are very important for the events next year. Also, Chris Petersen will be going abroad this fall semester so we have an opening at the IFC Secretary position. Therefore, IFC Secretary Applications are due on April 21st. 12. Panhellenic- Mary O’Sullivan: The next meeting will be on April 22nd at 5 pm. 13. Public Safety- Officer Snyder: No new report. 14. Greek Advisor - Dean Marrara: Make sure to get all your paperwork in before classes end. Feel free to see Dave or Dean Marrara with any questions you might have. Also make sure to keep the outside and inside of your houses clean. 15. Old Business: NONE 16. New Business: Sign up a team for the Kappa Klassic for the following weekend.
