IFC meeting called to order by Joe Valickus at 8pm. Chapters Absent: Phi Gamma Delta (Held at Phi Kappa Psi) 1. Special Guest- Kevin Recio: TKE/Chi O Powderpuff Football Tournament- You can pair up with girls on teams. It will be intramural football rules. E-mail renee.perry@bucknell.edu or kev.recio@bucknell.edu with questions. 2. Special Guest-Rich LaFredo: Non-Alcoholic House Party Event Funds Request: Want to plan an event on late Saturday afternoon. Want to do a barbeque and it will cost roughly 1100 dollars for food. Want to ask for funding from the IFC and Panhel. Asking IFC for roughly 500 dollars. We will vote on this decision in New Business. Reports 3. Alumni Liaison - Greg Wagner: No new report but Greg will take over Recruitment until we vote on a new board member. 5. GAMMA - Penton Mott: Duke Alcohol Speaker has not responded to Penton so we are now focusing on the Gordie Foundation. We are hoping to bring them to campus in the Fall. 6. GAME - Chen Mao: The Diversity Celebration will be on April 8th at 5:30, and you will get PfP credit. 8. Community Service/Philanthropy - Scott Shapiro: We will be voting on MPP tonight. Jungle Café Update- sign up for some of the few dates. Let Scott know any new cleanup dates. 9. Special Events - Jack Swain: House Party SERF forms are due Friday. House Party Risk Management Award- 500 dollar reward for House that handles House Party the best with clean-ups and risk management. After Spring Break, we will begin to sign up for GMT times for Chapter members. There is a meeting for Presidents and Risk Managers in Rooke 116 at 5 PM on Tuesday, March 25th. 10. Secretary - Chris Petersen: Website Update- Went through and changed every page so that the dates now correspond to the dates on the browser bar. 11. Recruitment - Arjun Raman: Applications are due on March 7th for this position. Must be a junior to apply. E-mail abe.brodach@bucknell.edu with the application. 12. Treasurer - Jeff Pike: The BSG budget is due this Thursday. We will be asking almost 14,000 dollars. The YMCA Basketball checks have come in, and Drew Willey will take over from now on. The dues for IFC this year are probably going to be 6 dollars a member. 13. VP-External - Abe Brodach: We need a couple volunteers from each Chapter to help out at the All Campus Olympics so let Abe know if you can help. 14. VP-Internal - Tom Leaman: The Constitution Committee has met a few times already, and the revisions will be done by Monday before the next IFC meeting. E-mail him with any questions you might have. 15. President - Joe Valickus: Activities Fair- There will be an All-Fraternity table and we need representatives to sit at the table. Card Key Access- a meeting is set up to discuss the card key access as well as Public Safety issues. Vandalism- Cars in the Sig Ep parking lot were covered in cooking grease, so if you have any tips, please let us know. 16. Panhellenic- Mary O’Sullivan: Having 2nd President’s lunch so stop by if you would like. All the sororities want to continue to co-sponsor non-alcoholic events with Fraternities. 17. Public Safety- Officer Snyder: Have a safe Spring Break. 18. Greek Advisor - Dean Marrara: House Party SERF forms and Risk Management forms are due this Friday. Chrysalis is the last weekend in April so make sure you do not plan any social events that weekend. Contact Dean Marrara if you are interested in helping out with Little League Baseball. Life Safety Reports are vital so make sure you respond to them immediately. Insurance companies will be coming back through to make sure all the deficiencies of your Chapter house are fixed. Have a wonderful Spring Break. 19. Old Business: NONE 20. New Business: Voting on the Million Penny Project Nominations. Nominations are Hand Up Foundation, Stay Tough, Fight Hard, and Susquehanna Valley Women In Transition. Hand Up Foundation will be the tentative choice until Panhel votes. Voting on the Budget: The dues will be 6 dollars a member for IFC. Every fraternity will register for the night after the concert to keep people from going downtown.
