IFC meeting called to order by Joe Valickus at 8pm. All Chapters are present. 1. Special Guest- Karan Shah: Applicant for Recruitment Chair- Sophomore from Lambda who is interested in running for the Recruitment Chair next week. Reports 2. Alumni Liaison - Greg Wagner: No new report. 3. GAMMA - Penton Mott: Bi-monthly risk management meeting will be starting soon and they are optional. We still encourage your risk managers to attend. 4. GAME - Chen Mao: Diversity Celebration- It is on April 8th and you will receive PfP credit. Look at the calendar for upcoming events. We encourage your chapters to attend. 5. Community Service/Philanthropy - Scott Shapiro: Jungle Café- the first night will be this Friday. Kappa Sigma should e-mail Scott about their downtown cleanup. 6. Special Events - Jack Swain: House Party Update- You need 6 people to sign up to work House Party. There will be a Mandatory meeting on Tuesday, March 25th at 5 pm in RCHEM 116. All chapter presidents, risk managers, social chairs, and the 6 individuals you sign up need to attend.. 7. Secretary - Chris Petersen: LC Plasma- In the future we will be able to start advertising Non-Alcoholic Greek events on the Plasma screen in the LC. 8. Recruitment - Greg Wagner: Meet the Greeks is this Thursday at 7 pm. It is highly suggested that you show up with at least 20 members. This is the first time you are presenting yourselves to the freshman. 9. Treasurer - Jeff Pike: No new report. 10. VP-External - Abe Brodach: All Campus Olympics- Fill out the form and sign up members in your chapter (basically who will be involved in what) and return it promptly. If you fill out the red sheet for Wingfest, you will receive a discounted price. Finally, we are also going to need volunteers to help out during the All Campus Olympics. 11. VP-Internal - Tom Leaman: House Party- make sure to get the volunteer forms in as soon as you can. E-mail Tom the 6 members of your chapters who will be paid to monitor during House Party. The Constitution Revisions are done and are posted in Tom’s public space. If you have any problems with it, you need to bring them up, as we will be voting on it next week. TEL004 is the public space you can look at for the revisions. Phi Psi and TKE have events this Friday. 12. President - Joe Valickus: The blueprints for the Card Access System have been handed out so that you can decide which doors you want. Try and be realistic and only circle around 3-5 doors. For House Party, the presidents will be required to do at least two hours of GMT, along with 6 individuals from your chapters. 13. Panhellenic- Mary O’Sullivan: There will be a program next Tuesday in Trout Auditorium sponsored by Panhel. You are encouraged to attend. 14. Public Safety- Officer Snyder: The upcoming meeting will help everyone out with how to handle House Party weekend. If you have any specific questions or concerns, feel free to contact Public Safety. The doughnut event will most likely be cancelled as of this point. April 13-19th Public Safety will be set up in the LC mall to raise money. 15. Greek Advisor - Dean Marrara: Life Safety Reports are due in early April. Roster Updates have been handed out and the directions are on there. I want to see a lot of Spring-cleaning done to your Chapter houses. March Madness starts this weekend so get prepared to make the final game a freshman friendly event. Finally, make sure to keep your houses in line during House Party and keep everything in line. If you want to have House Party, make sure you are prepared to work during it. 16. Special Events and Programming- Dave Goodwin: The discount for Wingfest is only in effect if you buy tickets for at least fifty percent of your members. Try and get a good team together for the All-Campus Olympics and make sure there is a good turnout for it. 17. Old Business: NONE 18. New Business: We will be voting on the two fraternities requests for Non-Alcoholic events during House Party. The vote passed with 10 approved, 1 opposed, and 1 abstention. IFC will allocate 1000 dollars to DU and Theta Chi for House Party Weekend.
