Finding Newman House

Walking from the Langone Center

  1. Proceed out the lower entrance of the Langone Center towards Seventh Street.
  2. Cross both Seventh St. and Walker Street, then proceed along Walker Street toward Vedder and Hunt Halls.
  3. Once you cross the foot bridge over the run, turn left and proceed on the foot path between Smith and Vedder Halls.
  4. Continue past Taylor House and the Financial Aid building. Newman House is directly ahead across Saint George Street.

Driving from US Route 15

  1. At the redlight in front of campus turn onto Moore Ave. (going towards the chapel)
  2. Follow Moore Ave past Rooke Chapel and the Langonge Center to a stop sign.
    * Due to limited parking you may want to park in visitor parking along Moore Ave. and follow the walking directions above.
  3. Proceed straight through the stop sign onto Walker Street.
  4. Bear right at the next stop sign onto Loomis Street.
  5. Take the next left and proceed through the lower parking lot to Saint George Street
  6. Turn left on Saint George Street, Newman House is a block ahead on the right.
  7. Feel free to park along the right side of Saint George Street except Thursday 7am - noon (parking restricted for street cleaning)
