Anything
not covered in the Mission Statement can be considered for an
amendment unless it interferes with personal lives (see Constitution
Section One). |

Process |

Petition |
|
|
|

|
1. |
Process
is started with a petition signed by ten (10) or more formal
members. |

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
2. |
Petition
must include section in question and the proposed changes. |

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
3. |
Petition
may be signed by any formal member, including officers. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
4. |
One
copy of the petition must be submitted to each the President, Vice
President of Activities, and the Vice President of Administration. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
5. |
The
petition process may be skipped if the changes are suggested by
the bylaws committee that is headed by a chair appointed by the
executive committee. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
B. |
Executive
committee stage |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
1. |
The
change is discussed at the next executive committee meeting and
then tabled. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
2. |
The
change is voted on at the following executive committee meeting as
a recommendation only. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
3. |
If
the change does not pass the vote, revisions may be made and the
committee stage repeated. If
the change passes the vote, it is taken to General Meeting for
voting. |

|
|
|
|
|

If
the change does not pass the vote, revisions may be made.
If the change passes the vote, it goes into effect
