I. Responsibilities of elected officials
A. All elected officials and ad hoc chairs are expected to carry out their assigned duties to the best of their ability.
B. All elected officials and ad hoc chairs are expected to attend each executive and general meeting.  Illness or emergencies are the only legitimate excuses for missing meetings and the president should be notified as soon as possible that the meeting shall be missed.
II. Executive Officers:
A. President
1. Inspirational leader and public face of the group.
2. Runs executive and general meetings.
3. Oversees whole group.
4. Can serve as ex-officio on all committees.
5. Attends BSG workshop.
B. Vice President of Activities
1. Reports to the president.
2. Informs membership of upcoming events.
3. Submits a tentative calendar of events for the next year by first general meeting of the next semester.
4. Assists treasurer with the budget.
5. Oversees the Activity Support Staff.
6. Runs Activity Support Staff meeting if one is called, including orientation meetings.
C. Vice President of Administration
1. Reports to the president.
2. Keeps membership roll.
3. Takes roll at executive and general meetings.
4. Ex-officio member to administrative ad hoc committees.
5. Sends voting member list to President and Vice President of Activities before the meetings if s/he will not be attending the meeting.
6. Runs elections, except for any positions that s/he is running for.
7. Keeps record of membership points accumulated by members.
8. Maintains archive of old scrapbooks.
9. Gets quotes from graduating seniors and, if possible, a photo.
10. Adds senior quotes, alumni roll, and the membership roll for the year as a scrapbook is retired to the archive.
11. Gives secretary attendance list from general and executive meetings to be included in the weekly minutes.
III. Other officers:
A. Treasurer
1. Reports to any of the following that is determined to be necessary:
a. President
b. Vice President of Activities
c. Vice President of Administration
2. Keep financial records (receipts, contracts) and writes checks.
3. Creates a budget in the spring.
4. Attends the BSG treasurers’ workshop.
B. Secretary
1. Reports to Vice President of Administration.
2. Takes minutes at all general and executive meetings.
3. Distributes general minutes to general members and executive minutes to executive members.
4. Keeps archive of past meeting minutes.
5. Keeps current scrapbook up to date.
6. Photographs or finds a group member to photograph all C.A.L.V.I.N. & H.O.B.B.E.S. events.
C. Public Relations Coordinator
1. Reports to the Vice President of Administration.
2. Responsible for C.A.L.V.I.N. & H.O.B.B.E.S. brochure.
3. Responsible for the press packet.
4. Maintains alumni roll.
5. Responsible for the alumni newsletter.
6. Sibling organization contact person.
7. In charge of the C.A.L.V.I.N. & H.O.B.B.E.S. reunions (occurring every five years) and may form a committee to help with them.
D. Publicity Coordinator
1. Reports to the Vice President of Activities.
2. Assists Activity Support Staff with publicity.
3. In charge of group advertising.
4. In charge of activities fair stand in fall and spring.
E. Activity Support Staff
1. Report to Vice President of Activities.
2. In charge of organizing events.
3. Responsible for notifying the Publicity coordinator in sufficient time for each activity.
4. In charge of signing up for and staffing mall tables for activity sign-ups.
F. Webmaster
1. May be held in conjunction with another position.
2. Maintains website.
