Jason Haase, a Sandan, or third-degree black belt in Shotokan karate, has been the instructor for BUSKC for the past four years. Sensei Haase lives in Williamsport PA, where he trains with his instructor, Sensei George Vance, at Penn College.

Traveling down to Bucknell University every week, Sensei Haase brings an uncommon dedication and passion to our dojo. An involved member of the ISKF, he is a judge for collegiate tournaments and kyu exams with nearly 20 years of training karate under his belt.

Sensei Haase's dynamic character and unrelenting commitment to his students have been the driving force behind the growth and development of our club. Instilling the traditional principles of karate in each student, Sensei Haase has been an invaluable asset to the dojo.
