HEW Hypertext Project (under construction)

The idea is to construct a list of the major topics that get taken up in high school and undergraduate economics courses.  For each major topic, we hope to enlist heterodox economists to collect the best available on-line resources.  One possibility is to organize information into the following categories:

(1)   Readings, articles and films that provide an alternative, heterodox approach, grounded (ideally) in heterodox economic theory.

(2)   Web links on the topic that allow students to explore a subject more fully, including data sources and think tanks.

(3)   Exercises on the topic that teachers can use in classes to teach heterodox ideas and to counter the neoclassical position.

(4)   Key tables and charts that provide data and information from a heterodox perspective.
