Community Service

Alpha Chi requires each member to complete at least 13 hours of service per semester. Activities include:

• Donald Heiter Community Center
• Jungle Café in Milton
• Ronald McDonald
• Basket/Box Drives for various causes
• Downtown Clean-Up
• Lewisburg Ice Festival
• Downtown Thaw-Out

 

Philanthropy

This past semester, Alpha Chi raised the most money out of all Greek organizations for Relay for Life: $12,717! This amounted to over $100/ person.

AXO/SigEp Volleyball Bash

The annual Alpha Chi and Sig Ep Beach Volleyball Bash is one of our key philanthropic events. The whole campus comes together on one of the first sunny days of spring to play volleyball on the sand courts. This year, all of our proceeds from the tournament benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.

Jewelry Drive

This year, the sisters of Alpha Chi Omega helped collect donated jewelry to later clean and sell at Terra Sylvan in downtown Lewisburg.  All of the proceeds benefit the Donald Heiter Community Center.
