Computer Science Department

As one of the first universities to introduce computer science into its curriculum - in 1957 - Bucknell University continues its commitment to providing students with a state-of-the-art computer science education. For students majoring in computer science there are three degree options:

• B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering (College of Engineering)
• B.S. in Computer Science (College of Arts and Sciences)
• B.A. in Computer Science (College of Arts and Sciences)

A minor in computer science also is available. Also, new this year, Bucknell offers a degree in Computer Engineering, which is jointly supported by the computer science and electical engineering departments in the College of Engineering. All of these degree options allow students to choose a program compatible with their curricular interests.
