May 2008 - The Graduate Trusteeship of the Delta Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta suspends undergraduate operations of the chapter.

February 2008 - The Bucknell Panhellenic Council/sororities vote 4-1-1 and approve extending an invitation for another nationally affiliated sorority to colonize at Bucknell in the fall of 2009.

February 2008 - Delta Gamma sorority becomes the first organization to receive Gold Star from Bucknell. They are receive a grant of $5,000.

February 2008 - Chi Omega and Kappa Alpha Theta sororities acheive Silver Star Status for 2007. Theta Chi fraternity acheives Silver Star Status for 2007. All organizations receive a $2,500 grant.

December 2007 - The Alumni Board of Kappa Delta Rho decides to close the chapter house for the Spring 2008 semester. The undergraduate chapter is still active, member cannot reside in the alumni owned house.

April 2007 - Demosthenean chapter of Delta Upsilon at Bucknell is officially re-chartered by Delta Upsilon International Fraternity of Indianapolis, IN.

February 2007 - Theta Chi fraternity is officially re-colonized at Bucknell and recognized by Theta Chi International Fraternity of Indianapolis, IN.

January 2007 - Kappa Sigma fraternity begins their re-colonization process will full re-colonization set for Fall 2007.

January 2007 - Alpha Chi Omega, Chi Omega, Delta Gamma and Kappa Alpha Theta sororities acheive Silver Star Status for 2006. Sigma Phi Epsilon and Theta Chi fraternities acheive Silver Star Status for 2006.

August 2006 - Delta Upsilon Fraternity successfully re-colonizes

February 2006 - Chi Omega and Kappa Alpha Theta Sororities and Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity achieve Silver Star Status for 2005.

October 2005 - Theta Chi Fraternity interest group is establshed.

February 2005 - Delta Gamma Sorority and Phi Kappa Psi and Sigma Chi Fraternities achieve Silver Star Status for 2004.

February 2004 - Sigma Chi Fraternity achieves Silver Star Status for 2003.

Summer 2003 - Kappa Sigma Fraternity has their local charter revoked by the fraternity headquarters located in Charlottesville, VA.

December 2003 - Delta Delta Delta Sorority has their local charter revoked by the sorority headquarters located in Arlington, TX.

December 2003 - Delta Upsilon Fraternity has their local charter suspended by Bucknell. The chapter is not eligible to return to Bucknell until the fall of 2006.

January 2003 - The "Plan for Prominence in Fraternity and Sorority Affairs" is fully implemented for the first time.

April 2001 - Bucknell's Board of Trustees approve to implement the "Plan for Prominence in Fraternity and Sorority Affairs."

Summer 2000 - Theta Chi Fraternity has their local charter revoked by the fraternity headquarters located in Indianapolis, IN.

Fall 1992 - Sophomore recruitment is implemented for the first time.

November 1989 - Bucknell faculty vote 94-46 to abolish the fraternity and sorority system.

May 1989 - The Alumni Greek Council (AGC) is created.

1895 - Pi Beta Phi becomes the first national sorority established at Bucknell.

1887 - The first local sorority is founded at Bucknell (Beta Delta Phi).

1855 - Phi Kappa Psi becomes the first national fraternity established at Bucknell.
