Laura Calderwood Major(s): Biology Class Year:2012 Birthday: September 17, 1990 Favorite Color: Teal Favorite Food: Cinnamon Rolls Favorite Bucknell memory: Discovering Ritas Why I Joined CHOICE: My sister went to college the year before me, and she had a lot of horror stories about uncouth things happening in her dorm when her hall-mates were under the influence of alcohol, so I liked the sound of a program where I could still go out and experience college life, but I wouldn't have to deal with the problems my sister had in her hall. Also, I wanted to make friends who would be open to a greater variety of weekend activities than your average student.
Why I am a CHOICE RA: I really enjoy living on a CHOICE hall. There are great activities all the time (for free) which are always good opportunities to spend time with the people on my hall. Being an RA allows me to support the program and help get everyone involved. |

Why you wanted to be a CHOICE RA: I loved the CHOICE program as a freshman and met some great friends. Being a CHOICE RA provided an opportunity for me to continue living in CHOICE while helping to promote a healthy living environment on the hall for my fellow CHOICE residents.

Why you wanted to be a CHOICE RA:There is a different atmosphere and a greater sense of community on a choice hall than most other places on campus.
